The I'm In Recruiting Campaign Launch
Big news — we're kicking off a campaign to help you recruit the next generation of officers. We've heard anecdotally from our law enforcement partners that recruiting is a challenge, and recent research illustrates that the problem is widespread among US agencies. Of officers surveyed in a recent Wakefield Research study, 87% believe that it is harder to recruit now than it was 5 years ago, and 83% believe that it will only get harder in the next 5 years.
We know that finding and motivating officers isn't always easy, and we want to help. How? By creating free recruiting materials for you to use, so you won't have to spend precious time and resources on getting people interested. For starters, here's a video for you to use, wherever and whenever:
We hope it helps to show young people what it means to be a police officer today, and that it leads to more of them stepping up to say “I'm In” to connect and serve their communities.
There are more resources and tools in the works. Check out our official Connect and Serve campaign page to get more info, claim your “I'm In” poster, and sign up to get updates as we release additional materials.
