Your Impact

As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will have the opportunity to provide direct support to the Senior Manager of Accounts Receivable and contribute in all facets of accounts receivable. You will collaborate with team members to implement process improvements and assist in day-to-day operations.


What You’ll Do

  • Execute customer invoice/credit memo processing and customer payment functions
  • Maintain customer files in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practices
  • Ensure customer master files are accurately maintained
  • Actively review customer aging reports to pursue collection of cash and delinquency reduction
  • Assist Manager with period end closing procedures and reporting schedules as needed
  • Ensure purchases are paid within the customer payment terms
  • Assist in developing policies and procedures that support business objectives and ensure the effective and efficient processing of financial information to support Axon’s growth
  • Support management in various projects to support Axon’s growth, such as customer master clean-up and standardization, etc.
  • Assist testing and training of current and future system upgrades and implementations
  • Ability to identify process improvement opportunities and recommendations
  • Routinely review and analyze new and existing customers for credit worthiness
  • Assist management with credit risk and bad debt analysis
  • Respond to credit reference requests
  • Supporting internal/external audit requests
  • Maintenance of team shared mailbox for all customer communication and activities
  • Back-up for preparing Non-AR bank deposits
  • Back-up for updating customer tax exemption statuses

What You Bring

  • Associate’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum of 5 years’ relevant professional level work experience
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics
  • Excellent customer service, phone and shared mailbox management
