The Axon RISE Awards are back! Last year, we were humbled by the incredible submissions we received for our 2021 RISE Awards. Revisit our 2021 winners here.
The RISE Awards were designed to highlight the untold stories of the heroes among us. From the individual officers who put their lives on the line each day, to public safety agencies who work tirelessly to protect and enhance their communities to community organizations who work hand in hand with public safety leaders to build a better future, we look forward to continuing to highlight these outstanding partners and stories through this year's RISE Awards!
There are four award categories:
RISE Officer honors three officers who have saved a life or shown exemplary performance in the field.
undefinedRISE Agency recognizes a department for making great strides in building up their community.
One winner will receive $7,500 for their police foundation, police nonprofit or community project of agency’s choosing
RISE Community honors a community program working hand in hand with law enforcement to benefit their local community.
One winner will receive $7,500 in funding towards the winning community program
Jack Cover Medal of Heroism Award is designed to recognize officers who use less-lethal force to save lives.
As the original inventor of the TASER technology, Jack Cover envisioned the preservation of life through non-lethal force. Today at Axon, we continue that mission to protect life with our products and technology. This prestigious award will be given on an ongoing basis to recognize those who save a life using a less-lethal force, verbal de-escalation, heroic action, quick thinking and more.

Each day, public safety puts their lives on the line in dedication to their communities, Axon’s RISE Awards help share and honor those stories of extraordinary courage, heroism and valor. We hope these awards inspire others as much as they inspire us.
Visit www.axon.com/riseawards to nominate an agency, officer or community program that rises above and beyond. Nominations from the U.S. and Canada are open January 19 - March 4, 2022. Community voting on nominations will begin on March 7 and close March 18, 2022. Community members, friends and family may vote for one entry per day. The top 10 finalists with the most votes in each category will be reviewed by a panel of judges and winners will be recognized at Accelerate 2022 in Phoenix, AZ.
