Guided by customer feedback and developed in partnership with hundreds of customers, this redesign, which launched on December 2, 2025, kicks off our Axon Evidence evolution, focusing on five core areas of improvement: navigation, search, evidence details, media player, and the admin experience. Together, these updates introduce dozens of enhancements, both big and small.

Sometimes, it’s the smallest changes that deliver the biggest impact. Customers told us they wanted fewer steps and more flexibility. These updates do just that:

1. Resizable, customizable columns – Expand and resize columns to view complete metadata and make full use of screen space, allowing users to customize their workspace for maximum visibility and efficiency.

2. Light and dark mode – Seamlessly switch between light and dark mode to stay comfortable and discreet across diverse environments, from bright public spaces to low-light, late-night conditions.

3. Centralized navigation - Access Axon solutions from a central starting point with a modern side-navigation design that keeps tools, settings, and profiles just a few clicks away.

4. Single search bar – A unified search across IDs, titles, tags, transcripts, and more eliminates the need to guess which field to use, and save frequent queries for instant access later.

5. Map search – Search geographically within a radius to find all potential evidence that passed through an area, helping support that relevant evidence is included in a case.

6. Support pane – All the essentials, such as metadata, notes, transcripts, redactions, cases, and more are neatly organized into tabs for quick access to the right information.

7. Simultaneous review - Review video and access the support pane at the same time in a clean, split layout. No more scrolling back and forth between footage, metadata and solutions.

8. Media player - Expanded playback speeds (from 0.25x up to 4x), new viewing modes, and additional keyboard shortcuts make video review more flexible and efficient.
