Registration

Axon’s TASER Energy Weapon Master Instructor Certification School (MIS) is a 5-day program that certifies attendees for 24 months from the date of school completion. This MIS provides instructor development and training on Energy Weapon best practices, weapon handling, de-escalation, scenario-based training, and TASER program management (Evidence.com).

All attendees of the program will be required to attend all 5 days of the MIS.

In addition to the on-site school (dates below), all attendees will be required to complete prerequisite online coursework via Axon Academy (academy.axon.com). You will be registered for your online coursework at the time of your registration.

Prerequisites required for school registration:

• 5 years of public safety experience (Sworn Law Enforcement Officer, Probation, Parole, etc.) or 5 years of active military service (or combination thereof);

• Active certification as a TASER Energy Weapon Instructor AND hold a General Instructor and/or high liability instructor certification;

• Able to participate in strenuous physical activity;

• Have instructed at least two (2) TASER Energy Weapon courses; and

• Full-duty clearance required

3. School registration and payment (including OSP/TASER 7 Plan voucher submission)

4. School registration confirmation and online course access granted
