Graham Smith

Prior to his retirement in 2015, Smith spent almost three decades in the software industry, in a variety of finance roles. He served as CFO at Salesforce, where his leadership and vision for high growth at scale contributed to the company’s success, growing from $750 million in revenue to over $5 billion. Prior to joining Salesforce, Smith served as CFO at Advent Software Inc., Vitria and Nuance. Prior to his CFO roles, Smith spent over a decade at Oracle Corporation. He currently sits on the boards of Splunk and Procore Technologies and serves as board chair at Sonoma Valley Education Foundation. He has previously served on the boards of directors of BlackLine, Inc., Citrix Systems, Inc., MINDBODY, Inc., Slack Technologies, Inc. and Xero Limited. Mr. Smith earned his B.Sc in Economics and Politics from Bristol University in England and he qualified as a chartered accountant in England and Wales.
