Learn about our Axon Customer Experience Improvement Program (ACEIP) and upcoming ACEIP Enterprise Basic+ use cases.    

The Axon Customer Experience Improvement Program (ACEIP) Enterprise Basic+ enables UK Enterprise Customers to actively contribute to the responsible evolution of Axon’s public and workplace safety technologies. Through this voluntary program, participating customers securely share Customer Content to develop new products and improve existing product accuracy, reliability, and effectiveness while maintaining standards of privacy and data protection. 

What is ACEIP Enterprise Basic+?

ACEIP Enterprise Basic+ is a voluntary program that allows Axon to use Customer Content from Enterprise Customers in a secure and controlled manner to accelerate Axon’s development of technology, such as building and supporting automated features, aiming to increase safety within communities and efficiency in public and workplace safety.  Certain copies of Customer Content, as described in the applicable Use Cases, from Axon Cloud Services is voluntarily shared with us and securely protected. Axon will only maintain copied Customer Content for 25 days.

Our Commitment to Transparency

This Transparency Portal provides information on how ACEIP Enterprise Basic+ data is used by each Use Case. It also provides detailed information about the data involved,  our purpose for using it, the expected benefit, and the privacy preserving techniques applied to Customer Content after the 25-day retention period, and other relevant data protection practices. Regulatory Compliance Framework

ACEIP use cases are reviewed by Axon’s Privacy Team in accordance with the following regulations and standards. This list is not exhaustive and may evolve as new privacy, data protection, and artificial intelligence laws are enacted. 

UK General Data Protection Regulation (“UK GDPR”)

Primary UK law on processing of personal data: lawfulness, fairness, transparency, purpose limitation, security, accountability.

Data Protection Act 2018 (DPA 2018)

UK law that “supplements and implements” UK GDPR in the UK context (including special categories of data, law enforcement regimes) challenges.

Data (Use and Access) Act 2025 (DUAA)

A recent UK Act (Royal Assent 19 June 2025) that amends data protection law (UK GDPR, DPA 2018, PECR) to enable responsible data sharing, reform for digital identity, smarter frameworks.

Health and Social Care Act 2022 / sector-specific health-data regulation

Provides reforms for health & social care in England, interacts with data-sharing, confidentiality, digital health regulation.
