Axon Evidence: Designed with the UK frontline
Axon Evidence is Axon’s secure digital evidence management platform. Developed in collaboration with early partners across the UK, Axon Evidence was designed to support trauma-informed evidence collection while balancing investigative rigour with public transparency.
Feedback from early users including officers, investigators and digital evidence specialists, directly influenced how we designed features like consent-driven uploads, safeguarding-focused access and clear notification pathways. This collaborative approach will not only improve Axon Evidence capabilities over the coming years but also strengthen the entire Axon Ecosystem.
A connected vision for UK policing
The Axon Ecosystem is a network of technology solutions that work together to drive greater safety, efficiency and visibility for UK police forces and their communities. Each solution reflects four key principles:

Beyond technology principles, Axon Records is being co-developed with UK policing partners through design sessions, pilot programmes and feedback workshops.
Frontline officers, investigators and civilian staff will help ensure that local requirements are embedded from the start, making Axon Records a true part of the ecosystem rather than a standalone system.
This collaborative approach means the platform is aligned with the realities of UK policing, from compliance and policy alignment to day-to-day workflows. By reducing time spent on administrative tasks, Axon Records supports forces’ wider goals of reinvesting officer time back into community policing.
