Map settings permissions
The Map Settings permissions let users manage which user roles can view, edit, and manage the agency's common names and map layers.
Prior to assigning these permissions, contact your Axon representative to ensure that feature layer and common names management has been enabled for your agency.
Once the features are enabled, take these steps:
- Log in to Axon Evidence and go to Admin > Roles and Permissions.
- Find the role you want to grant map settings management to and select the pencil icon.
- Scroll down to the Map section and adjust the following permissions as needed:
- View Common Names
- Edit Common Names
- Manage Map Layers
- Scroll down to the bottom of the window and select Save.
- Log out and then back in to your Axon Evidence account to ensure the new permission takes effect.
