Delete a group

Users who have permission to edit groups can change the status of an active group to Deleted. When you delete a group, the access of monitors to evidence uploaded by members of the group is revoked.

Caution

Deleted groups cannot be re-activated

The audit trail for a deleted group remains available for users who have permission to view group audit trails.

Delete a group from group search results

  1. Select Admin from the top menu.
  2. Under Users, select All Groups to open the Groups page.
  3. Find the group you want to delete in the list, or use the search feature to locate the group. Learn more about Searching for Groups.
  4. In the row of the group, select Delete group (trash can).
  5. Select Delete.
  6. On the confirmation window, select Delete. The state of the group changes to Deleted. If group search results include only groups that are Active, deleted groups are removed from the results for the group you just deleted.

Delete a group from the group profile page

  1. Select Admin from the top menu.
  2. Under Users, select All Groups to open the Groups page.
  3. Find and select the group you want to delete in the list, or use the search feature to locate the group. Learn more about Searching for Groups.
  4. Select More Actions (three dots), and then select Delete Group.
  5. On the confirmation window, select Delete. The state of the group changes to Deleted, and the only available action on the group profile page is View Audit Trail.
