Transfer Files from Auror to Axon Evidence

Transferring files from Auror to Axon Evidence allows you to consolidate digital evidence from retailer-reported events into a single workspace. This creates a unified view in Axon Evidence and records the imported files in the audit trail to maintain chain of custody.

You must have access to both Axon Evidence and an active Auror account to transfer files.

1. In Axon Evidence, select Retail Crime Dashboard.
2. Select the Top Offenders, Top Vehicles, or Top Sites tab and select a record to open it in Auror. If prompted, sign in to your Auror account.
3. In Auror, locate the relevant event and scroll to Evidence Locker.
4. To export a single file, select more actions (down arrow) on the file, and then select Export.
5. If there are multiple files and you want to export all of them, select Export all.
6. In the dialog box, select Export to continue.
7. A new case is created in Axon Evidence using the Auror event ID and the selected files are added to that case.

You will receive an email and an on-screen notification in Auror when the export is complete. Select the link from either to open the case in Axon Evidence.
