Multicam Playback
In Axon Evidence, multicam playback helps you review simultaneous video recordings from multiple sources in one seamless view. This feature is helpful for analyzing complex incidents involving multiple individuals or camera angles.
Multicam videos appear automatically when these requirements are met:
- Requires a Pro license.
- The videos were recorded using Axon cameras: Axon Body 2, Axon Body 3, Axon Body 4, Axon Flex 2, or Axon Fleet.
- Each camera was running firmware version 1.9 or later.
- The cameras were within 30 feet (10 meters) of each other and recording for at least one minute (not including pre-event buffering).
- You have permission to view all videos involved.

- When all videos are selected, select Launch Multicam.
- Select Back to Evidence to return to the originally selected Evidence Detail page.
View multiple videos
WIth Multicam playback, the selected videos are requested from the system and synchronized. The upper section of the page shows the videos and standard media player options while the lower section shows information about the evidence files. Multicam playback uses standard media player controls.
During playback, videos that don't start at the beginning of the sequence show a message bar that states when the video will start. This lets you know when a video will begin playing so you can quickly jump to the point when all videos are active. Since each video can have its own audio, an additional audio selector control in the center of the media player controls lets you choose which audio track to use during playback.
