Evidence

In Axon Evidence, evidence means any digital file you upload, manage, or review as part of a case or investigation. Evidence can be video, audio, images, or documents collected from many sources—like body-worn cameras, in-car systems, partner organizations, or uploaded files. Each file you add becomes its own trackable record within your organization’s workspace, ready to review whenever you need it.

When you open a file, you can view its details, play it back, and take actions like redacting, sharing, or downloading it. You can also connect related files—like clips, redacted versions, or converted videos—to keep their relationships clear and easy to follow. Every action is recorded automatically so you always have a complete history of how that evidence was handled.

Access to evidence depends on your assigned role and permissions. Some actions might only be available to certain users.
