Third Party Video supported file types
The Third-Party Video feature supports playback for thousands of video formats, including many proprietary types without standard names. The Axon engineering team adds support for new formats weekly, based on customer requests. This article lists the file extensions most commonly associated with supported formats.
A file format is not the same as a file extension, and a file extension does not always identify the format. Extensions like .avi, .mp4, .dav, and .exe can be used for multiple format types.
Supported file formats
Playback supports most file formats from a wide range of video manufacturers. The following table lists some of the most common:

Number and sequence-based files
Some video systems export files using numbered or sequence-based extensions instead of standard format names. These extensions can represent parts of a larger video or grouped audio/video files.
