Resolved Issues in 4.18 Hotfix-3

The following issues have been addressed:

  • Resolved an issue where interview sessions could fail to properly start recording under certain IO module connectivity conditions.
  • Corrected a condition that could result in incomplete media segment finalization and prevent uploading in specific environments.
  • Improved handling of intermittent server or network disruptions that could cause an active interview session to disconnect or prevent a new interview from starting.
  • Resolved an issue where certain configuration updates could cause the Interview Server service to stop, preventing new interviews from being created until the service was restarted.
  • Corrected a Live Streaming condition where version validation warnings could briefly appear when connecting to multiple server pairs, despite normal connectivity.
  • Improved handling of offline or unavailable cameras and devices to prevent extended startup times, error dialogs, or delays when creating a new interview.
  • Updated Interview Server service recovery configuration to automatically attempt a single restart in the event of an unexpected service failure. This setting can be adjusted through Windows Service Manager if needed.
  • Axis OS 12 Firmware support has been added. This is required for the new Axis P3275 which replaces the P3265 for new installations.
  • Suppressed health check warnings that could give false positives. They will be logged for further refinements.
  • The system has been optimized to improve server startup performance.
  • The continuous recording feature has been deprecated due to lack of use. Agencies using this feature will be set to “Event Bases with Buffer” recording mode.
