Help menu

The Help menu contains information about Axon Investigate and allows users to send feedback about feature requests or bug reports.

Select Help in the top menu to find the following sections:

  • About: Contains copyright and licensing information for both Axon Investigate and for the third-party tools that it incorporates.
  • User Manual: Opens the Investigate product page on MyAxon where you can access a copy of the PDF user guide.
  • Hotkey Actions: Opens a menu of selectable hotkey actions.
  • Submit Feedback: Provide feedback and request improvements for Axon Investigate. In the Submit Feedback box, enter as much detail as possible to help our support team understand your request or issue, then select Generate Error Report. You will be directed to save a feedback file to your computer. Email the feedback file to [email protected]. The error report contains the command and response activity within Axon Investigate and helps Axon expedite your request. Axon works as quickly as possible to fix any issues and to integrate requested features into the update schedule.
  • Licensing: View your License Key and technical support dates and to address user licensing questions. A diagnostic tool is included to run a scan to detect dongle hardware, machine IDs and relevant licensing details.
  • Terms: View the software agreement and legal notice, select to share usage metrics with Axon, and change your region of usage in compliance with GDPR regulations.
  • Updates: Check for new software updates and current version details.
  • Settings: Access the application settings, which are also available on the navigation ribbon of the application. For more information, see Settings Tab.
