Convert TASER device logs to evidence

TASER 7 and TASER 10 device logs can be converted into a digital evidence asset.

1. Select Inventory.
2. Select TASER Energy Weapons.
3. Select the desired device.
4. Select Device Log.
5. Filter the device log as needed.
6. Select the checkbox next to each entry you want to convert.
7. Select Copy to Evidence.
8. In the dialog box select Copy to Evidence to confirm.

Once converted, you can access the evidence through Evidence Search or from the TASER device profile page under Recent Evidence.

When a TASER log is added to evidence, the system records who handled it and when, and applies an SHA-2 hash.

TASER 7 logs include pulse graphs that summarize discharge activity and help reviewers understand how the device was used during an incident.
