Unable to Mute Audio on Video Recording

The Mute feature on the Axon Body 2 and Axon Flex 2 camera is a system feature that must first be enabled in your agency Evidence.com account.

Note: The camera must first be recording in order to mute the audio. You cannot place the camera into a muted state before starting a recording.

Enable the Mute Feature

  1. Log in to your Evidence.com account. Select the Admin tab, then select Body Camera Settings in the Devices section.
  2. Scroll to the Axon Body 2 and Axon Flex 2 section and locate the Camera Audio Mute setting. Select Enable Users to Mute Camera Audio.
  3. Scroll to the bottom of the page and select Save Settings.

Users of Axon Body 2 and Axon Flex 2 cameras can now mute audio during video recordings. The next time the camera connects to an Axon Dock or Evidence Sync, it will update with this new setting.
