System administration & audit

Configure system settings, monitor audit logs, and manage sharing settings across agencies.

View or edit system configuration

  1. In the navbar, select Settings and then select Global.
  2. Review categories such as:
    • The location your map centers on
    • Adjusting the amount of cameras that auto dock and the radius needed to trigger them
    • Enabling slew to cue
    • Toggling alerts on
    • Setting an audit retention time
    • Enabling watermarking
  3. Select a section to view or modify settings.
  4. Select Save to apply changes.

Review audit logs

Audit logs show user activity, system changes, and access events.

  1. In the navbar, select Audit.
  2. Use filters to view activity by date, user, or event type.
  3. Select a row to view details such as timestamp, IP address, and description.
  4. You can enter relative information on an audit line by selecting the + symbol in the Incident and Notes columns. Anything entered becomes a permanent part of the audit.

Configure mutual aid or data sharing

Location and Camera Admin is a required permission for this procedure. To manage shared cameras, locations, and video with other organizations:

  1. In the navbar, select Shares.
  2. Outgoing shares are shares your organization has shared with others. The Status column indicates whether the agency has accepted your share. Select the configuration icon under the actions column to set up how the share works. Options may include date limits, conditional share, viewing live, viewing recordings, PTZ controls, or limit to admin only.
  3. Incoming shares are shares coming from another organization to yours. Under the Actions column, select Accept to bring a share into your organization.
  4. You can delete any share by selecting the trash can icon in the Actions column.

Note: Creating an initial share of a location, camera or video to another location is completed by working within the object's location in fususONE.
