Allow local network access in Chrome or Edge

Common issues caused by local network access not being allowed

If local network access is blocked in your browser, you may experience one or more of the following issues for cameras accessed through a local network connection:

  • Livestreaming works, but video playback does not.
  • The video playback timeline fails to load.
  • The timeline fails to load when entering full-screen mode.

If you are experiencing these symptoms, follow the steps below to allow local network access in your browser.

How to fix local network access in Chrome

  1. In Google Chrome, navigate to Axon Fusus.

  2. Select the View site information icon to the left of the website address in the address bar.

  3. Select Site settings. The Settings tab opens.

  4. Scroll to Local network and change the setting to Allow.

  5. Return to the Axon Fusus tab and refresh the page.

  6. The yellow banner should disappear once the page is refreshed.

How to fix local network access in Edge

  1. In Microsoft Edge, navigate to Axon Fusus.

  2. Select the View site information icon to the left of the website address in the address bar.

  3. Select Permissions for this site. The Settings tab opens.

  4. Scroll to Sites can ask to connect to any device on your local network and change the setting to Allow.

  5. Return to the Axon Fusus tab and refresh the page.

  6. The yellow banner should disappear once the page is refreshed.
