Redaction activity report

The Redaction Activity Report lists the objects (audio and video masks, outlines, and text) added by Redaction Assistant and Redaction Studio. The report is viewed and downloaded from the Redaction tab on the evidence details page of the original evidence.

  1. Open the evidence details page for the original evidence.
  2. Select the Redactions tab. A list of redactions is shown
  3. Next to the redaction with the report you want to download, select More actions (...), and then select Download activity report.

The downloaded report is in a .csv file format. Each line in the report shows the object type and the start and end time for each different redaction object.

Note

If a disclaimer is added to the redaction, the timestamp is adjusted based on the length of the disclaimer.

Redacted objects and reason - admin

To enable the Redacted Objects and Reason field complete the following:

  1. Select the checkbox in the Activity Report Redaction settings page.
  2. Add the desired items, and then select Save.

Redacted object and reason

Depending on your settings, you may be able to use the Redacted Object and Reason field in Redaction Studio.

With a mask selected, select Redacted Object and Reason to populate a customized list.
