Uploading Policies

Policy Chat works by referencing your organization’s policies to provide answers.

Upload Policies

To upload your organization’s policies, complete the following:

  1. Sign in to Axon Evidence.
  2. Select Admin at the top of the screen.
  3. Select Policy Chat Manager.
  4. Drag and drop your policy files or select Browse to upload.
  5. After selecting all desired files, select Upload. A message appears confirming your upload.
Note

Only machine-readable PDF files are supported. Password-protected PDFs are not readable, and there is a 5,000-page limit. You can only upload up to 5,000 pages of policy in total.

Removing Policies

You may wish to remove a policy if it has become outdated or replaced by your organization.

To remove an uploaded policy, complete the following:

  1. Sign in to Axon Evidence.
  2. Select Admin at the top of the screen.
  3. Select Policy Chat Manager.
  4. Select the desired file(s) you wish to remove.
  5. Select Delete File.
