Features and enhancements

2026.11 Release notes
Features and enhancements
Fusus 911 Overview
The Fusus 911 experience is now generally available. These features give operators fast, actionable visibility into live 911 calls — right from the Fusus platform.
-
911 Call Panel
A dedicated panel at the top of the toolbar gives operators quick access to 911 calls without covering the map or pulling focus from the main view. Open and close the panel with a single click from the toolbar. What operators see when a 911 call comes in:
-
Caller information — phone number and caller name when available
-
Location — GPS coordinates and an estimated street-level address plotted on the map • AI-generated call summary — a plain-language summary of what's happening on the call, updated in real time as the conversation unfolds
-
Audio playback — listen to the call directly from Fusus
-
Nearby cameras — instantly pull up camera feeds near the caller's location and dock them to your view, so you can get eyes on the scene without leaving the platform
-
Call status — see at a glance whether a call is active, ended, or dismissed This gives operators immediate context on an incident without waiting for dispatch or switching between systems.
2. Call Dismissal
The 911 call panel organizes calls into three clear sections: Active, Ended, and Dismissed. Operators can dismiss active 911 calls that aren't relevant with a single click. Dismissing a call doesn't end it — it moves the call to the Dismissed section so it's out of the way but never lost. Dismissing only affects your view — other operators on the team still see the call in their own queue. If a call is dismissed by mistake, it can be restored immediately. Especially useful for high-volume centers where lower-priority calls can crowd out the ones that need attention.
3. Historical 911 Calls
Ended calls stay accessible in the Ended section of the call queue for up to 24 hours. Each ended call retains its full details, including caller information, location, AI summary, and audio playback, so teams can reference prior incidents, spot patterns, or pick up an investigation without losing context.
4. Street-Level Address for 911
Calls Each 911 call now displays an estimated street address (e.g., "1432 W Elm Street, Anaheim, CA") derived from the caller's latitude and longitude coordinates. This is a best-estimate location based on the coordinates provided by the 911 system, not a confirmed physical address. Visible on both the 911 call card in the queue and the call detail panel, so operators can orient themselves without zooming or panning the map. If the caller is in an area where a street address isn't available (e.g., a highway or unincorporated area), the system displays the best available location information or shows "Unknown Location."
5. Geographic-Based Call Filtering
Agencies can filter 911 calls by agecny-level geographic boundaries so only calls relevant to their jurisdictional area appear. This keeps out-of-area calls from cluttering the queue and helps teams focus on incidents they can respond to.
To set up a boundary:
Click Settings in the top navigation
Select Global
Click Configure 911 boundary
Draw or adjust the boundary on the map to match the jurisdiction
Save the configuration — the filter applies immediately
6. 911 Call Alerts
911 call alerts notify operators when a high-priority 911 call comes in. The system uses AI-generated call summaries and a set of high-risk keywords (e.g., "shots fired," "active shooter," "hostage") to flag calls that require immediate attention. When a match is detected, an alert is surfaced directly in Fusus so the right people are notified in seconds.
Alerts Overview
Alerts panel
A new Alerts panel is available in Axon Fusus. The panel shows alerts from the past 24 hours, sorted from newest to oldest. New alerts appear at the top in real time without a page refresh. Select the alerts icon to open or close the panel.
Alert filtering
You can filter the Alerts panel by category. Available categories are Personnel (Axon device alerts), Calls (911 and Call for Service), Sensors & Detections (Axon Vision Lens), and LPR. A count badge on the filter button shows how many filters are active. Filter selections persist across sessions, logouts, and page refreshes.
Personal alert radius
You can set a personal alert radius to limit the Alerts panel to alerts within a specified distance of your location. The radius is configurable in miles or kilometers based on your locale setting in Evidence.com. The radius preview updates on the map as you adjust the value. Enabling or disabling the radius filter does not affect other active filters.
Drawn alert boundary
You can configure a drawn alert boundary to limit your Alerts panel to alerts within a custom geographic area. Alerts originating outside your drawn boundary are filtered from the panel and do not appear as toasts. This boundary applies to all alert types, including Axon device alerts.
Global alert boundary (administrators only)
When a global alert boundary is configured for your organization, alerts originating outside that boundary are filtered from the Alerts panel and do not appear as toasts. Axon device alerts — including body worn cameras, TASER, Signal Sidearm, and Fleet — are always delivered regardless of the global boundary setting for personnel safety.
Mark As You can now optionally mark events directly from the alert card if you have the required permissions:
•Mark as Addressed — indicates the alert has been handled.
•Mark as False — indicates the alert did not require a response.
• A status badge appears on the card after it is marked. Hovering over the badge shows the name of the user who acted and the time it was applied. The Mark Alert As False permission in Evidence.com is required to use the Mark As feature; users without this permission will not see the option. All mark actions are recorded in the Fusus audit log with the date, time, acting user, device, and any comments provided. Status updates sync across devices within approximately 2 seconds.
Dismissed alerts A Dismissed Alerts view is now available from the Alerts menu. It lists previously dismissed alerts and supports the same search and filter options as the active alerts view. LPR alerts are automatically dismissed 5 minutes after the event time.
Cancelled signal
When an alert's underlying event is cancelled — for example, a Watch Me request is called off — the existing alert card updates in place to show a Cancelled status badge. No new alert is created for the cancellation.
Alert rules (administrators only)
Alert rules define when alerts are sent and who receives them. When a triggering event occurs — such as a Watch Me request, or a TASER activation — the system evaluates your active rules and notifies the configured recipients. To create a rule, go to Settings > Real-Time Alerts > Alert Rules and select New Rule.
Each rule requires:
• Trigger event: The event that activates the rule, such as Watch Me, TASER Trigger Pulled, or Call for Service.
• Sources: Choose All Sources to apply the rule across all devices and integrations, or select specific sources.
• Recipients: Choose who receives the alert — individual users, user groups, or your command hierarchy. At least one recipient is required.
• Rules are enabled automatically when saved. From the rules list, you can enable, disable, edit, or delete any rule. Sort the list by Last Updated or Last Notified to find rules quickly.
Drawing alert boundaries in Incident Management and Global Alerts now preview the area as you draw and require closing the shape by clicking the starting point to finish and save. The same experience will be coming to the main map in an upcoming update.
