Elevate your evidence management with Trusted Upload! Designed to enhance collaboration, this feature streamlines the evidence collection process by seamlessly and securely integrating evidence from third-party partners.
With the Trusted Upload feature, Justice customers can receive any required data right into a case from third-party partners who are identified as trusted users outside of Axon platforms.
What is a Trusted Upload user? Trusted users are not customers of the Axon platform but are required to send digital evidence to Axon Justice cases.
Detailed user guides and e-learning modules are available to help Axon Justice end-users and admins set up and manage access and evidence collection from trusted users. Additionally, a trusted user guide and trusted user e-learning are available to provide your trusted users with all the information they need to securely upload their evidence.
If you're interested in being part of the early access program, contact your Axon representative. Please note that the Trusted Upload feature is not yet available to Federal customers in US3.
Add trusted users
Onboarding third-party partners as trusted users allows them to submit evidence directly into your Axon Justice system.
- Sign in to your Axon Justice administrator account.
- Select Admin, and then under Sharing Settings select Trusted Upload.
- Select Add User.
- Enter the email address of the trusted user, and then select Add.
Once you add a trusted user, they will be listed on the Trusted upload page.

- Select the Upload Securely button in the email to upload your evidence.
- Drag and drop or Click to Upload your files.
The Axon Justice uploader accepts files up to 1.5TB and common formats like .mp4, .jpg, .g64, etc. If your file isn't supported or is too large, it may need to be converted or compressed before you retry. View all file types supported by Axon Justice. - After adding files, they will appear in a list below the upload area. These files are not uploaded to the system until you select Upload. Prior to uploading, you have the option to:
- Add more evidence by dragging and dropping, or clicking to upload more files.
- Remove any files you do not want to upload by selecting Remove (trash can) next to the files you wish to remove.
- After ensuring all files are correctly listed, select Upload to finalize the upload of your files to the system. Progress bars will show the status of your files as they are being uploaded.
- Once your upload is complete, an Activity Log shows the number of items uploaded and the date, with a green check mark indicating a successful upload.
After uploading trusted users can:
- Continue to add more evidence by dragging and dropping, or clicking to upload more files.
- Select Activity Report to generate an Upload Activity Log for a detailed overview of the uploaded files.

Receive requested evidence
Easily receive and review evidence from trusted users within your Axon Justice case.

- Previously when a Justice end-user added a group to a case Internal Access, the group was not able to be removed with the delete button. This is now resolved and is possible.
