- The most recently added offense is shown first, followed by older ones.

Records resolved issues
This section includes information about upcoming bug fixes and resolved issues that will be released to all production environments.
Search
The following issue will be resolved on September 9, 2025:
- Previously, finalized and draft versions of the profiles were sorted separately, which could lead to confusion and names not always appearing alphabetically. With this update, finalized and draft profiles will now sort together regardless of the report status.
NIBRS
This section includes information about upcoming updates and bug fixes for NIBRS validation rules, errors, and submissions.
All agencies
The following update has been applied to the production environments of all agencies:
- Ethnicity is now optional for Arrestees, Offenders, and Victims in NIBRS submissions.
- Previously, Ethnicity was required when adding a person to a NIBRS report. This conflicted with NIBRS reporting standards, where Ethnicity is an optional field for Arrestees, Offenders, and Victims. The system has been updated to remove this requirement, and validation logic has been aligned with NIBRS guidance.
Maryland agencies
The following update will be applied to the production environments of all agencies on September 9, 2025:
- The validation rule for Report Date/Time is being updated to require only that it be the same as or later than the Incident From Date/Time. The Incident To Date/Time is no longer factored into this rule, preventing unnecessary errors when reports are created during an active incident.
Michigan agencies
The following update will be applied to the production environments of all agencies on September 9, 2025:
- Several issues impacting the accuracy of Michigan NIBRS XML submissions have been resolved.
- These fixes ensure that data present in incident reports and NIBRS is consistently captured in the submission file, including:
- City/Township/County: Properly populating
<msp:LocationCountyCode>and<msp:LocationCityTownshipCode>. - Victim Data: Ensuring victim sequence number, age, injury, and offense associations are included.
- Victim-Offender Relationships: Automatically inserting the required 99 (Unknown) relationship value when offenders are unknown.
- Property Data: Preventing invalid or disallowed tags and values (e.g., NaN item value) when Property Loss Code is 0 (None) or 9 (Unknown).
- City/Township/County: Properly populating
- These changes improve submission success and align with MICR’s reporting requirements. No user action is needed.
- These fixes ensure that data present in incident reports and NIBRS is consistently captured in the submission file, including:
Oklahoma agencies
The following update has been applied to the production environments of all agencies:
- A formatting issue has been resolved in the Vehicle Information section of 23F - Theft From Motor Vehicle offenses.
- Previously, when adding a vehicle with the role set to Recovered and Vehicle Status set to 5 - Recovered, users saw a concatenated validation error in the Additional Vehicle Information section (e.g., “selectedAt” instead of “selected. At…”). This issue has been fixed, and validation messages now display correctly with proper spacing and line breaks.
