Download this month's release notesTASER 10 firmware update v1.7.23
General availability targeted for 12/20. This update improves security, reliability, and overall device performance for TASER 10 energy weapons. It introduces a new agency-level setting in Axon Evidence that allows agencies to disable all wireless broadcasts, including Axon Signal and Chirp. When disabled, the weapon will not trigger camera activations or other wireless events, supporting agencies that require tighter control of wireless communication. The update also resolves issues affecting log clearing, session log accuracy, battery-related log synchronization, and unintended wake events in certain holsters. Agencies are encouraged to update their TASER 10 energy weapons as soon as possible to benefit from these improvements.
TREND Navigation Update and New TASER Analytics Dashboard
Axon has updated the navigation to show TREND for customers who only have TREND. Customers with Standards will continue to access TREND under the Standards navigation. A new TASER Analytics dashboard is now available under Analytics, offering eight reports that provide insights into TASER program performance, including executive summaries, deployment timelines, incident and probe analysis, de-escalation usage, and benchmarking against typical U.S. agencies. Users can export any combination of these dashboards to CSV, PDF, or PPTX. Learn more on Axon Academy (non-federal) or Axon Academy (federal).
Improvements to TASER Program Dashboard
The following improvements were made to the TASER Program Dashboard:
- Supervisor Notifications for Docking Reminders: Agencies can now enable notifications to supervisors when a TASER device has received three or more battery docking reminders without action. This helps ensure timely compliance with charging protocols.
- Escalation Column: A new column called Escalation appears in the TASER Inventory view. This column indicates whether a docking overdue reminder has been escalated to a supervisor, offering increased visibility into follow-up actions.
- Filter Streamlining for Active Devices: TASER devices with a status of Relinquished or None are now excluded from TASER Inventory search results. This change improves clarity by allowing users to focus only on active, in-service devices.
