TASER 7 CQ energy weapon
The TASER 7 CQ is a TASER 7 variant. Designed for agencies most likely to use energy weapons at close range, the TASER 7 CQ energy weapon has a red top LASER and no bottom LASERs. The TASER 7 CQ is configured exclusively for use with the close quarter (12-degree) TASER 7 cartridges. It cannot use the standoff (3.5-degree) cartridges. The TASER 7 CQ does not include the black rubber grip of the TASER 7, but has a textured pattern etched into its all-yellow plastic.
All TASER 7 battery packs are compatible with the TASER 7 CQ. The Tilt Select feature is not available with the TASER 7 CQ.
The TASER 7 CQ has a single red LASER sight, intended to show the user the approximate end location of the top cartridge probe. Both Class 2 and Class 3R LASERs are available.
