Adjusting Camera Settings

This section provides the general steps for making changes on the Settings screen. Additional information about each setting appears below.

  1. Ensure the Axon camera is turned on and connected to your mobile device.
  2. Open Axon View.
  3. In the upper left, tap the Settings icon.
  4. The Settings screen appears. Available settings depend on whether the app is connected to a camera and on the specific Axon camera model.
  5. Adjust the settings as needed.
  6. When finished, tap X in the upper left.

Camera Settings

The settings in the Camera area affect pairing and the lights, sounds, and vibrations of a paired camera.

Camera Model

Under Camera, the first setting shows the camera model currently configured for pairing.

Orientation

If you have an Axon Flex or Axon Flex 2 camera, use Axon View to adjust orientation.

  1. On the Settings screen, tap Orientation.
  2. Select the appropriate side.

Forget Camera

If this setting appears, the app is currently paired with an Axon camera.

Camera Volume

Controls how loudly Axon Body 3, Body 2, or Flex 2 beeps.

  1. Tap Volume.
  2. Select the desired level.
  3. To change volume, repeat steps.

Vibration

Controls whether the camera uses haptic feedback.

  • Toggle right: enabled
  • Toggle left: disabled

Indicator Lights

Enables or disables camera indicator lights.

  • Toggle right: lights on
  • Toggle left: lights off

Stealth Mode

Turns off lights, sounds, and haptic feedback.

  • Toggle right: stealth mode enabled
  • Toggle left: stealth mode disabled

Adjusting Camera LED Brightness (Axon Body 3)

Note Users must have permission to adjust indicator lights. If Automatic Brightness is enabled, manual brightness controls are disabled.
  1. Toggle Automatic Brightness as needed.
  2. If disabled, adjust Top Brightness and Front Brightness.

Reconfigure Wi-Fi (iOS Only)

Reconfigures Wi-Fi for Axon Body 2 or Flex 2 cameras.

  1. Tap Reconfigure Wi-Fi.
  2. Tap Continue.
  3. Tap Configure Wi-Fi.
  4. Tap Install twice.
  5. Enter your device passcode.
  6. Tap Done.
  7. Return to Axon View.
  8. Connect to the camera Wi-Fi network in iOS Settings.
  9. Return to Axon View and tap View Live.

You are ready to use Axon View.
