Installing Axon View

Axon View is an application that allows you to play videos and apply metadata tags (such as case ID) to video files that are currently stored on compatible Axon cameras. This app also allows you to adjust the settings of your Axon camera if permitted by your organization.

Device Requirements

  • iOS devices: iOS 16 and above.
  • Android devices: Android 11 and above.

Axon mobile applications installed on older operating systems will continue to function, but those applications will not receive version updates.

Note The Private Space feature in Android 15 is not supported and may interrupt functionality in Axon apps. Learn more about Private Space Compatibility with Axon Apps.

Installing Axon View for iOS

Axon View for iOS is available as a download in the App Store.

Note If you experience sign-in issues, you may need to disable Private Relay on your iOS device. For more information, see iCloud Private Relay & Privacy.
  1. On the iOS mobile device, open the App Store app.
  2. Enter Axon Capture in the search box.
  3. In the list of search results, select Axon View.
  4. Select Get, then select Install.
  5. Select Accept. Axon View downloads and installs.
  6. Select Open to open Axon View.
  7. On the notification window, select OK. You can change notification settings later as needed.

Installing Axon View for Android

Axon View for Android is available as a download in the Google Play Store.

  1. On the home screen of the Android device, select the applications icon.
  2. Swipe right or left until you find the Play Store icon.
  3. Select Play Store.
  4. Enter Axon View in the search box.
  5. In the list of search results, select Axon View.
  6. Select Install.
  7. Select Accept. Axon View downloads and installs.
  8. Select Open to open Axon View.
  9. On the notification window, select OK. You can change notification settings later as needed.
