A new View evidence video and images permission is being added to the Evidence Management permission section. This permission controls whether users can view the underlying media for evidence items (view videos, see images, hear audio, etc.) This permission will be automatically assigned to all roles that currently have the View Unrestricted Evidence, View Restricted Evidence, and View Confidential Evidence permissions, so users will not lose existing access to media following this release. For newly created roles, this privilege will default to Prohibited. If you want any roles to be able to access evidence transcripts and metadata (for example, so they can use Draft One), but NOT view the underlying media, you can prohibit this permission.
