Business Request
Business Request is currently part of an alpha release. This means it is still being developed, and is available to select organizations for testing and feedback. As an alpha feature, functionality is not fully polished, and adjustments can occur based on input. If you would like to participate in this alpha release, contact your Axon representative. Business Request creates a secure way to request digital evidence from a business. Use this request type to collect photos, videos, documents, and written statements from retailers and other commercial establishments that are relevant to your investigations.
How delivery works
Business Request can be delivered in two ways, depending on whether the business uses Auror.

| Business not using Auror | Request is delivered by email or SMS, like other Axon evidence requests |
Businesses that are not part of the Auror network do not need an Auror account. They receive a secure link and can upload evidence through a simple web page.
Create a Business Request
- Select Community, then select Community Request.
- Select Create New Community Request.
- Select Business Request.
- Enter the Request Details:
- ID
- Retention categories
- Crime type
- Incident start data and time
- Enter the business location in the search bar. Matching locations appear. Select the correct location from the list.
- Select Create.
Business Request limits
The following limits apply to evidence uploaded through a single Business Request link:

| Total storage | Up to 200 GB per link |
| Files per link | Up to 25 files |
If you expect to exceed these limits for a single incident, follow your organization’s guidance on creating additional requests or splitting uploads across multiple links.
