Distribution Requests

The following privileges related to distribution requests appear in the Distribution Requests privilege category. This category contains both a static privilege and a set of workflow privileges.

Workflows

Once created, a distribution request moves through a workflow that contains two states: Open → Closed. Each state is associated with multiple privileges, which give you granular control over which users can take actions on a request, based on its current state.

The workflow privileges appear at the end of the category. Within the workflow subcategory, privileges are sorted by state. The states are listed alphabetically, not by the order in which they appear in the workflow (e.g., Closed, which is the final state, appears before Open).

The hover tooltip for the Open State - Create tasks privilege provides additional details about the workflow as a whole, and not just the Create tasks privilege.

Add comments States: Open	Lets users add comments in the report sidebar.
Assign tasks to others States: Open	Lets users reassign requests (currently assigned to themselves or to other users) to other users.
Assign tasks to themselves States: Open	Lets users reassign requests currently assigned to themselves to other users.
Create tasks States: Open	Lets users create distribution requests, which appear in the Distribution Requests inbox.
Submit tasks from the Open state States: Open	Lets users mark requests as complete
View tasks States: Open, Closed	Lets users view requests
