Flags Configuration

Users with specific privileges can add flags (colored labels) that serve as quick visual alerts to important information when someone views a profile. In Axon Standards, flags can be added to citizen and vehicle profiles.

If your agency uses both Axon Records and Axon Standards, any flag categories you create can be used in both places.

Create flag categories

To create a new flag category:

  1. Open the Administrator Console.

  2. Select Flags Configuration.

  3. Select Add New at the top of the page.

When creating a new flag, provide the following information:

  • Category name
  • Indicator color (blue, gray, green, orange, purple, or red)
  • Severity (high, medium, or low)
  • Description template (optional, appears when a user adds a flag to an entity, signaling that they need to provide information when assigning the flag)

Edit flag categories

To edit a flag category:

  1. Open the Administrator Console.
  2. Select Flags Configuration.
  3. Select Edit for the flag you want to modify.

Warning

You cannot delete flag categories, so be cautious before adding new ones.
