Axon ALPR

Resolved issues

  • Outpost GA7 Release: - ALPR reliability improved: the service now filters non-plate false positives, including those triggered by certain vehicle grilles and long text strings, reducing the quantity of false hit alerts. - More reliable plate delivery on weak or busy networks: license plate reads now upload in parallel rather than one at a time. On slow or congested cellular connections, and during high-traffic periods, reads reach Evidence significantly faster and far more consistently, and a camera recovers its backlog much more quickly after a connectivity gap. Hotlist hits continue to be delivered with priority.
  • Resolved issues: - Video pipeline stability: fixed brief, occasional frame drops during periods of heavy motion and hardened automatic recovery of the plate reader, so the camera keeps capturing reliably during high-traffic periods. - Wi-Fi setup: fixed a case where the camera's Wi-Fi access point could fail to start, which could interrupt installation and registration. - Log upload: fixed delays in device log upload after a fresh deployment. - Status LEDs: fixed the Bluetooth LED continuing to blink through a reboot after registration.
