TASER 10 log energize duration improvements

You can review TASER 10 logs and pulse graphs with clearer energize duration reporting by separating connected energize time from unconnected energize time. This helps reduce confusion in scenarios where a device attempts to energize without connected cartridges. Learn more.

Resolved issues

  • Fixed an issue where the Delete Evidence and Edit Date Recorded events were not translating to TASER logs that are copied to Axon Evidence. Also fixed an issue where users were able to delete evidence they didn’t have access to.
  • Update: High voltage module (HVM) Critical Error Notifications in Axon Evidence – RMA Required for Specific Errors
In the January/February 2026 Release Notes, we communicated that certain TASER 10 energy weapons were displaying critical error notifications in Axon Evidence without a corresponding error shown on the handle CID. At that time, preliminary findings indicated these notifications were likely false positives, and we recommended temporarily quarantining affected devices while our investigation continued.
Following additional analysis and engineering validation, we have confirmed that the majority of these critical error notifications were false positives and have removed them from Evidence.com. Any HVM critical error appearing in Evidence.com should be treated as a confirmed hardware failure and returned through the standard RMA process, even if no error is displayed on the handle CID.
If you have any questions or need assistance initiating an RMA, please contact Axon Technical Support.

TASER Training Resources

Available in all regions starting Q2 2026. Agencies will be able to view data-driven training resources organized by issues, such as ineffective deployments and inconsistent TASER device operations. Each resource includes a detailed focus area, observable indicators, and suggested actions to help reinforce targeted behaviors. This tool will be available under the TASER menu in Axon Evidence.
