Assign devices to Groups
Administrators can assign devices to Groups in bulk with a CSV file or one at a time from device details page. This update helps organizations view and search for devices related to their own unit, and adds a Group filter in Device Inventory to make assignments easier to review. For organizations that use Evidence Groups, assigning devices to Groups can also support evidence access based on the device that captured the evidence.
If you would like to participate in the alpha release, contact your Axon representative. Learn more at Assign devices to groups.
Share video files with Auror (Axon Enterprise)
Share with Auror will soon let users send selected video files directly from the search page in Axon Evidence to Auror. Users will be able to add videos to an existing Auror event or create a new draft event during the same flow, reducing the need to manually move files between systems.
If you would like to participate in the alpha release, contact your Axon representative.
Find files with My Groups
My Groups is a search option that narrows results to files from a user's command-hierarchy groups and subordinate groups. Users can also set My Groups as their default search view, helping teams in large organizations start with the files most relevant to their area.
If you would like to participate in the alpha release, contact your Axon representative. Learn more at Find files with My Groups.
Evidence access based on the device that captured the evidence
For organizations that use Evidence Groups, evidence can inherit its Evidence Group from the recording device’s assigned group instead of the recording user’s Evidence Group. This update helps keep evidence access aligned to the location where the file was captured, even when users move between sites. If a device is not assigned to a group, uploaded evidence has no Evidence Group.
If you would like to participate in the alpha release, contact your Axon representative. Learn more at Assign Evidence Groups by device group.
