Salesforce and ERP QA Engineer (Remote)

Your Impact

This is an excellent opportunity to come be a part of a transformation where you will feel your impact and help shape Axon’s future success in a very visible way.   You will coordinate, execute and support testing of business critical, customer facing applications built primarily on the Salesforce platform. This includes Quality Assurance testing, Regression testing, and support & coordination of User Acceptance testing. You will be the recognized testing expert and work closely with business and technical teams on testing new key features and system issues for these customer platforms.

What You’ll Do 

Location: Remotely from USA AND/OR Onsite at our Scottsdale, AZ office
Reports to: QA Manager

  • You will ensure that acceptance criteria is well defined for every requirement and that every acceptance criteria has a test script.
  • Perform QA duties independently daily under the direction of the QA Manager.
  • You will develop and execute test plans, test scripts/cases, and test reports on projects of varying size
  • You will document and evaluate test results and defects, track and manage defects through to resolution.
  • You will collaborate with developers to ensure testing results meet performance and scalability requirements.
  • You will conduct troubleshooting, problem triage, and root cause analysis
  • Validate test case creation and mapping to requirements and designs.
  • Simultaneously you will coordinate test efforts for multiple projects, ensuring proper test coverage for each application
  • You will collaborate with multiple business teams to coordinate and manage execution of User Acceptance testing.
  • Drive regression test and user acceptance test planning and execution for end-to-end ERP processes (Finance and Operations) and Salesforce
  • You will leverage your experience of test automation to build best practices for the team,  and incorporate automated tests into a Continuous Integration solution. 

What You Bring

  • Experience working with CRM and ERP Systems – Salesforce required
  • Experience in testing Opportunities, Quotes, and Orders in Salesforce
  • 4+ years of leading testing activities for concurrent projects 
  • Experience in working within testing tools e.g. ADO, Jira, Applause, X-Ray etc.
  • Tenacity to dig into functional areas and learn them completely to support testing of that function
  • Solid understanding of QA best practices to lead novices through a testing cycle
  • Demonstrated ability to clearly communicate with peers, business analysts, and subject matter experts
  • Knowledge of testing methods – Black box, Regression, Negative, Automation, etc.
  • Experience working in Agile environments and on scrum teams / ceremonies.
  • Experience with Selenium, Tosca, TestIM or another industry best-in-class tool for automated UI testing

Additional Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Azure DevOps and Test Plans a real plus
  • Strong leadership and negotiation skills with business and technical groups
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively collaborate with others, lead actions, and adapt to change
  • Ability to work with minimal direction
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field applicable to software testing

The Pay: Axon is a total compensation company, meaning compensation is made up of base pay, bonus, and stock awards. The starting base pay for this role is between USD 83,000 in the lowest geographic market and USD 138,000 in the highest geographic market. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: level, function, training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, geographic market, and often a combination of all these factors.
