When I think back to September 7, 1993, I could picture today clearly. I could envision a world where public safety had access to technology that would make the world a safer place for themselves, their families, and the communities they serve.
I have been fortunate enough to work closely with partners in public safety and witness countless moments of bravery and dedication to their communities. I have had the opportunity to hear from community members and incorporate new perspectives on the development of future products. And I have had the chance to work alongside innovative technologists to brainstorm and develop solutions to try and tackle some of society’s biggest problems.
It has been a humbling experience working alongside you all for the past 30 years, and I look forward to 30 more.
In the last three decades, we’ve expanded into new segments, geographical markets, and product lines, aiming to provide public safety members around the world with the tools needed to capture and preserve truth, accelerate justice, and protect life.
We’ve come a long way, but we have further to go. For the past year, I’ve spoken about our Moonshot Goal to reduce gun-related deaths between police and the public in the U.S. This goal is new, but it reflects the work we’ve already been doing for three decades to develop technologies that help everyone get home safe.
To our customers, our partners, and our employees: thank you — for being the reason why Axon has been able to evolve, and for your dedication to protecting life.
