SCOTTSDALE, Ariz., April 7 2021 - At Axon our mission is to ensure that everyone gets home safe. With that mission in mind, Axon is proud to announce that, in collaboration with FirstNet®, it is providing the Topeka, Kans. Police Department access to the Axon Respond for Devices app, at no cost, for the next two years. The Topeka Police Department uses FirstNet - the only nationwide, high-speed broadband communications platform dedicated to and purpose-built for America’s first responders. FirstNet is designed to improve communications across public safety entities nationwide, allowing first responders to easily and quickly communicate with one another during everyday situations, big events or emergencies.
FirstNet, coupled with Axon Respond for Devices, will continue to provide Topeka police officers with reliable, modern communications tools they need to perform at their best.
