Axon Celebrates Women’s Equality Day
Aug 26, 2021
Women’s Equality Day holds dual meaning to women across the United States. It is simultaneously a celebration of women's suffrage, and a reminder of women's ongoing struggle to be seen, heard and valued as equals.
At Axon, we are committed to meaningfully engaging with diverse voices and actively seeking out different perspectives and experiences to further our shared goal of Protecting Life. We exemplify this commitment through building equitable processes, promoting internal mobility and ensuring employees’ whole selves are supported through thoughtfully designed benefits, compensation and affinity groups.
To learn more about Women at Axon, listen to these employee perspectives from across our organization:
“Axon has cultivated a culture where diverse experiences are celebrated and where every voice matters. I am a single mother of four. Being supported by Josh Isner and other members of the leadership team--and working at a company which allows me to bring my full self to my work--has been paramount to my success here." - Regina Holloway, VP Community Impact
“We live in such a fast-paced world that slowing down sometimes feels impossible. One of the many lessons COVID-19 taught us is the importance of work-life balance, especially as the lines between work and home have become dramatically blurred by working from home for such an extended period. One of the many things I’m proud to have implemented at Axon is encouraging employees to set boundaries and establishing partnerships with platforms like Ginger. Both of these initiatives prevent burnout and allow employees necessary space and time to prioritize themselves and their health.” - Elizabeth Hart, SVP People Operations
