Records Assistant. Records Specialist. Dispatcher. Evidence Technician. Information Systems and Communications Manager. These are just a few of the roles Jen Brown has held in her 25+ year career in law enforcement. In each role she has held, Jen has worked to support both sworn and civilian employees as well as the broader community.
“My roles for each agency may differ but I offer solutions to help provide a better customer experience for officers, employees and our community,” explained Jen. ‘My goal has always been to be confident and know as much as possible so I may provide support to anyone that needs it.“
This support extends beyond Jen’s official duties helping to make law enforcement functions easier and user-friendly. Jen is active in the Coconino County Sheriff’s Office’s Critical Incident Stress Management Team, and is also an advocate for the 100 Club’s Bulletproof App, which provides health and wellness support to first responders. “Ihave been an advocate in my time with the Command Staff to be vocal about creating mental health programs and to promote it from the top.”
Some of this passion for supporting others stems from Jen’s role as a mother. “I have three wonderful sons which makes me super human.” And this superhuman strength drives Jen to accomplish feats outside of her professional life as well. “I also have a goal to hike the AZ Trail which is about 800 miles...I plan on accomplishing this in my near future.”
